The Pin Point Heritage Museum included the stabilization and restoration of an oyster factory to serve as the museum’s main exhibit building, restoration of three other existing buildings on the site and the construction of four new buildings for the complex. All restoration and new construction was completed to comply with ADA accessibility standards.
The museum opened to the public in September of 2012, and is currently available to tour on Saturdays.
